Colours, pigments, dyes…

Monsieur Delacroix greets Madame Haro and asks her please immediately to grind him 6 pig bladders of basic white lead, 6 of Naples yellow, 2 of yellow ochre, 2 of cobalt, 2 of black – with all of them more liquid than the ones prepared for everybody else. He will be sure to come by tomorrow morning, Tueasday, to collect them at 7 o’clock. He requests that she have everything donethis evening.
